Meridian Meridian (formerly Ethereal): deposits, withdrawals and USDe collateral

USDe (USDT/USDC deposits supported)

You can deposit USDT or USDC; it is automatically converted to USDe when deposited. You do not need to acquire USDe beforehand. Deposits support many networks, while withdrawals go only to Robinhood Chain. Check supported tokens, fees, minimum amounts and the final amount received in Deposit.

About Meridian

Formerly Ethereal, Meridian is a Perp DEX using USDe as collateral on Robinhood Chain. Trade crypto such as BTC, ETH and SOL alongside perpetuals referencing SPY and QQQ equity index ETFs, gold and silver, 24/7. These are derivatives, not ownership of the underlying shares or ETFs. An MLP Vault provides liquidity.

Getting started

This guide uses Arbitrum One for deposits. Select Arbitrum One in Deposit; manually bridging funds to Robinhood Chain first is not a prerequisite for this route. Leave ETH for gas and compare the full cost of swaps and deposits.

1
Install MetaMask
Install the extension for your browser from the official MetaMask download page. Create your wallet and check the receiving address. If you already use MetaMask, continue to the next step.
Add MetaMask to your browser →
2
Check deposit tokens and acquire ETH
Check Arbitrum One and the supported tokens in Meridian Deposit before buying funds. Residents of Japan can buy ETH with yen through a domestic exchange such as OKJ.
Open an OKJ account →
3
Send ETH to MetaMask on Arbitrum One
Choose Arbitrum One as the withdrawal network at your exchange. Switch MetaMask to Arbitrum One and confirm receipt. Verify that your exchange supports withdrawals on this network.

4
Choose Arbitrum One in Meridian Deposit
Connect your wallet, select Arbitrum One as the source network and check the token, minimum deposit, fees and amount received.
5
Prepare USDT or USDC and deposit
Prepare a supported token such as USDT or USDC on Arbitrum One. USDT/USDC automatically converts to USDe at deposit, so no prior swap to USDe is needed. Keep swap source and destination networks on Arbitrum One, retain ETH for gas, and follow the approval and deposit prompts.

6
Check your balance and trade mPerps
Once your trading balance appears, you can trade. A user-reported answer from Meridian Discord confirms mPerps trades are eligible for Meridian Points. Withdrawals are available only on Robinhood Chain.

Why use OKJ?

For residents of Japan, this guide uses yen → ETH at OKJ → MetaMask on Arbitrum One → Meridian Deposit. OKJ offers order-book trading; compare trading costs, withdrawal fees and available networks before using it.

🎁 Register with OKJ through this site to receive BTC worth ¥2,000.

The referral offer requires at least ¥20,000 of qualifying purchases or sales within 90 days of email registration. Eligibility, identity verification and current OKJ terms apply; offers may change or end.

Gas ETH, withdrawals and bridging

Prepare gas ETH → withdraw from Meridian to your own Robinhood Chain wallet → bridge to another chain → confirm receipt. Use the same wallet for gas ETH and withdrawn assets. ETH on Ethereum or Arbitrum One cannot be used on Robinhood Chain simply by switching the network display.

If you already have enough ETH on Robinhood Chain, skip to step 5.

Steps 1–4: prepare ETH for gas on Robinhood Chain

1
Prepare ETH on Ethereum mainnet
When withdrawing ETH from an exchange to your own MetaMask, select Ethereum mainnet (Ethereum/ERC20). Allow for the ETH to bridge plus Ethereum transaction fees. Check exchange withdrawal fees even for small amounts.
2
Check the official bridge route
Open the Arbitrum official bridge, connect your wallet and verify source Ethereum, destination Robinhood Chain and token ETH. Use the wallet that will receive your Meridian withdrawal.
Open Arbitrum official bridge →
3
Check the amount and execute the bridge
Enter the ETH amount and review fees and the final amount received. Leave ETH on Ethereum for transaction fees and, if returning via the canonical bridge, the later Claim transaction. Use the current quote rather than a fixed gas budget.
4
Confirm ETH on Robinhood Chain
Switch MetaMask to Robinhood Chain and check the ETH balance. Mainnet Chain ID is 4663 and gas is paid in ETH. Canonical bridge deposits typically take about 10 minutes.

Steps 5–9: withdraw and move to another chain

5
Check the withdrawable balance and wallet
Check collateral committed to orders or positions and the amount available to withdraw. Use a wallet you control on Robinhood Chain; do not use an exchange deposit address unless both the network and token are supported.
6
Withdraw through Meridian Withdraw
Verify Robinhood Chain, the token received, destination address, amount, fees and net receipt before confirming. If the destination is fixed to your connected wallet, still verify its address. Follow the current app display for minimum amounts and processing time.
7
Confirm receipt on Robinhood Chain
Check withdrawal history, switch MetaMask to Robinhood Chain and confirm the received asset and the ETH prepared for gas.
8
Choose a bridge supporting the token and destination
For Ethereum mainnet, open the Arbitrum official bridge with Robinhood Chain as source and Ethereum as destination. Confirm the received token is supported; do not send an unlisted asset or treat USDe as USDC/USDT. For Arbitrum One or other chains, consult Robinhood’s official bridge guide for a supported route.

9
Bridge and claim the assets
Check eligibility, minimums, recipient, fees, timing and net receipt, then approve and send. The canonical withdrawal to Ethereum requires about 7 days, followed by a Claim transaction on Ethereum. Keep ETH on both networks for their respective transactions and verify receipt on the destination chain.

The roughly 7-day wait belongs to the canonical bridge, not Meridian’s own withdrawal processing. Other routes have different conditions; check the quote before confirming.

FAQ

Deposits support the networks listed above. Withdrawals go only to Robinhood Chain. Tokens, minimums and fees vary by route; check Deposit or Withdraw before confirming.

A user reported on October 21, 2026 that Meridian Discord answered “yes” to both current trading eligibility and mPerps eligibility. Check current rates, calculation and posting times. Points do not guarantee a future token distribution. The MLP Vault is separate from a trading account; review its terms and risks in the official app.

Prepare gas ETH, withdraw from Meridian to your own Robinhood Chain wallet, then bridge if needed. Follow the step-by-step guide above. Meridian processing times and fees must be checked in the app.

Old Ethereal documents describe a separate EVM appchain settling on Arbitrum One and legacy deposit and withdrawal routes. They do not establish current Meridian networks, minimums or processing times. If funds remain on Ethereal, check migration or withdrawal guidance in the current official app.
